Thanks so much for your interest in volunteering with Cooking Matters! To help us get to know you better, please submit your information at the bottom of the page and someone will be in touch with you!

Open positions include:

Chef Instructors teach adults, kids, and teens how to cook healthy, low-cost foods using the lesson plans and recipes for each class provided in the Cooking Matters curricula. Click here for a description of the chef instructor’s responsibilities.

Nutrition Instructors teach adults, kids, and teens how to make healthy choices using the lesson plans for provided in the Cooking Matters curricula. Click here for a description of the nutrition instructor’s responsibilities.

Class Assistants help instructors and facilitators with classroom setup, food preparation, food shopping, class activities and cleanup. Click here for a description of the class assistant’s responsibilities.

Class Managers coordinate and facilitate courses, which includes managing the classroom, securing needed food and materials, and supporting volunteers and participants.  Click here for a description of the class assistant’s responsibilities.
